Miley: The Branding Genius

It’s been three weeks since Miley Cyrus very provocative performance. And boy did it provoke some discussion. Since then, people have not stopped talking about her. She has been on a branding rampage. Miley Cyrus was announced to host SNL, released a record breaking music video where she reveals it off and announced her break up with Liam Hemsworth. Which has all led to speculations about the young star and has kept everyone talking. Celebrities from Pink, Cher, Brittany Spear, and Justin Timberlake have all been on the record to give their opinion about Miley.

Little did we all know this was a build up for something bigger…a documentary. Miley Cyrus is set to release “Miley: The Movement” Oct. 2nd at 10 p.m, on no other than MTV. The same network where it all begin. It’s safe to say that this controversy had to be planned. Miley’s VMA performance and other scandals is sure to have viewers tuning in, which means ratings go up and MTV is sure to cash in on the advertisers. As far Miley, I’m sure her record sales are going to look pretty sweet.

Not only did Miley Cyrus grow up, but she grew up to be quite the business woman. She said it herself, if they’re gonna talk, it’s better to have them talk  for two weeks than two days. And she’s had us talking for three weeks.
