Glamour magazine is honoring Lady Gaga in their Women of the Year, December issue. Lady Gaga is being acknowledged for her effort and commitment to “make the world a more tolerant place,” which is always great to see a celebrity use their brand for good.
Lady Gaga is one of many other phenomenal women. According to the LA Times, the magazine will also honor ” Malala Yousafzai, the 15-year-old Pakistani schoolgirl who was stabbed for seeking education for women;” in addition to Natalie Massenet, the founder of Net-A-Porter, for her efforts in reshaping the fashion industry and Christy Turlington Burns and Liya Kebede for the charitable work.
The magazine is scheduled to hit stands Nov. 5 and will compete with Cosmopolitan’s December issue, who has Miley Cyrus on their cover and we all know lately consumers cannot get enough of the Cyrus brand.
