When being one of the top selling music artists isn’t enough, you open a beauty agency. At least that’s what Rihanna has up her sleeve. Being a style and beauty icon with multiple endorsements, her own fragrances, and winning the CFDA Fashion Icon Award, the obvious next step was to start her own styling and beauty agency.
Rihanna announced to THR that she has quietly opened Fr8me. No wonder we can’t get a new album. The firm will assist artists with red carpet appearances, editorial spreads, commercials, and ad campaigns. The image of an artist is a critical part of their brand, which could determine the success of their appearances or campaigns.”Hair, makeup and styling play an important role in creativity,” Rihanna, 27, tells THR.
The agency includes hairstylists, makeup artists, and wardrobe stylists. Although, we know Rihanna loves finding new talent, these are no rookies. The roster includes Mylah Morales, Jason Bolden and Patricia Morales, many of which have major celebrity clientele with the likes of Taraji P. Henson, Fergie, and Jada Pinkett Smith.
Oh, but Rihanna isn’t quite done yet. In conjunction with Fr8me, Rihanna has also started a photo agency. The agency currently represents Erik Asla and Deborah Anderson.
It looks like like Rihanna is making moves to solidify her role as a mogul across numerous industries.
